This 2.5 litre Light Oak variant of Sikkens Cetol HLS Plus Translucent Woodstain provides excellent coverage for medium-sized exterior projects requiring a natural, subtle timber tone. The 2.5 litre container offers superior value for larger applications whilst maintaining practical handling characteristics. The Light Oak shade delivers a gentle, natural enhancement that allows the beauty of woodgrain to shine through with high translucency. This low build, solvent-borne semi-gloss woodstain functions both as a base stain and finishing coat, providing robust protection against mould, algae, UV radiation, peeling and cracking. The microporous, water-repellent formulation ensures optimal timber performance. Perfect for use as a finishing coat on exterior softwood and hardwood substrates including cladding, fascias, soffits, rough sawn timber and fencing. As a base stain, it absorbs readily into timber to provide a sound foundation for finishing coats. Can be used alone as a complete system on cladding, decking and garden furniture, or as a base before applying Cetol Filter 7 Plus or Cetol THB Plus on windows and doors. Should not be used alone as a finish for hardwood timbers.
