Featuring a 127mm (5in) blade length, this extended reach tester enables electricians and contractors to access recessed terminals and confined electrical installations with ease. Constructed from virtually unbreakable and shatterproof ABS, this mains tester offers excellent durability for daily professional use. The handle, pocket clip and blade are all insulated for maximum safety when working with live circuits. Built to VDE specification 0680-Part 6-4.77, it meets recognised European safety standards for electrical test equipment. To test a circuit, place the blade end on the electrical contact and press your thumb against the metal contact next to the neon viewing window. If the contact is live, the neon bulb will illuminate. The integrated pocket clip allows convenient storage and quick access when moving between jobs.
