This 3.5mm diameter x 40mm length Forgefast Pozi Wood Screw in a pack of 200 delivers extended penetration depth for thicker timber assemblies in interior applications. The 40mm length is particularly well-suited to securing battens, substantial framework, and thicker joinery components where deeper penetration with a moderate diameter is required. The universally accepted Pozi-compatible drive works seamlessly with standard tools, whilst six underhead lobes provide improved countersinking and reduced surface dust. Reinforced countersunk necks deliver enhanced holding power. The anti-friction thread reduces timber splitting, prevents jacking and spinning of joined components, and improves drawing strength. The serrated thread design enhances pull-out resistance whilst reducing insertion torque. Featuring a double cutting point for faster drilling time and reduced clogging, this screw is capable of piercing 0.8mm steel.
