The Bosch PRO T344DF is a bi-metal jigsaw blade designed for fast, clean cuts in thick hardwood and softwood up to 100mm deep. At 152mm in length, this blade is built to handle solid hardwood workpieces that shorter blades simply cannot reach. It delivers fast straight cuts in material thicknesses from 5mm to 100mm, making it a practical choice for carpenters and joiners working with substantial timber sections. The blade uses bi-metal (BIM) construction, combining a hardened high-speed steel (HSS) tooth strip bonded to a flexible high-carbon steel (HCS) body. This combination allows the blade to cut hard and abrasive materials effectively without sacrificing durability. Side-set, sharpened teeth further improve cutting speed in both solid hardwood and laminated panels. Suitable for all types of panels including laminates, the T344DF fits all T-shank jigsaws and is rated to last up to twice as long as the standard Bosch T344D blade.
