Other connectors are used but LC is by far the most popular option. These CPR Cca breakout cables are also approved for installation into any public sector building and comply with the most stringent fire regulations. In a Data Centre environment with ever-increasing bandwidth and network connections conventional duplex fibre leads are unable to meet these increased demands. This is where MTP cables are the perfect solution. A single MTP connector can house up to 24 fibres in a form factor that is very similar in size to an LC duplex connector. Using MTP trunk and breakout cables allows for much higher density cabling.
