Polycell Maximum Strength Paint Stripper is a premium, fast-acting solution for removing most types of paint and varnish. Engineered for maximum performance, it works from just 20 minutes, penetrating layers to lift them into a soft, easy-to-remove film. It is highly effective on both solvent-based and water-based coatings, making it an incredibly versatile product for your DIY projects. Safely use it indoors and outdoors on wood and metal surfaces without causing harm to the underlying material. For optimal results, apply a generous coat with a brush or flat tool. The effect is visible on solvent-based paints, where you will see the coating blister and soften. Allow it to work for up to 4 hours for maximum penetration through multiple layers, then simply scrape away the residue with a stripping knife. Repeat the process if any coating remains. One 500ml container covers up to 0.8 square metres. Always use with care: ensure adequate ventilation and protect surrounding areas. Do not use in extreme temperatures (below 10°C or above 25°C) or in direct sunlight. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Not suitable for use on fibreglass or plastics. Keep out of reach of children.
