The Comnet CNGE8MS is a hardened. 8-port Managed Ethernet Switch built for reliable performance in demanding environments. It includes four 1000BASE-TX ports and four gigabit combo ports. Each combo port is configurable for 10/100/1000Mbps operation over Cat5/6 copper or multimode/singlemode fiber using optional Comnet SFP modules. Exclusive to Comnet. the CNGE8MS supports C-Ring fast recovery technology. protecting networks from interruptions with rapid failover. Legacy Ring support ensures seamless integration with existing Comnet X-Ring networks. To maximize uptime. the switch features redundant DC inputs for continuous operation in the event of a power supply failure. Electrical ports support IEEE802.3 standards with auto-negotiation and auto-MDi/MDiX for easy deployment. Designed for flexibility. the CNGE8MS can be DIN-rail or wall-mounted and is optically and electrically compatible with any IEEE802.3-compliant device.
