Avento's robust slam balls are ideal for developing more explosiveness, endurance, speed and to strengthen your strength in core, arms and legs - highly recommended for the athlete doing a total body workout. Slam balls do not bounce and are often used for dynamic exercises such as ground to shoulder or overhead and power cleans. The slamball is also an effective tool for functional and sports-oriented training, because it can be used for various explosive exercises that are not recommended with a traditional medicine ball; the so-called 'slams' and 'throws' (hence the name 'slam' ball). The slam ball is made of high-quality synthetic rubber with textured surface for optimal grip and is filled with sand.
