The terms "flossing" or "floss band" were until recently known only to a few athletes and therapists in the fields of powerlifting, weightlifting, and cross training in Germany, where athletes wrap or band their limbs. In collaboration with renowned sports physiotherapist Sven Kruse, we developed these flossing bands with different levels of resistance and 3 band widths. Based on his EASYFLOSSING concept, during flossing, the floss band, approximately 2m long, is wrapped tightly and firmly around the body part and joint being treated, with a thickness about 4 to 7 times that of a medium-sized exercise band. Flossing speeds up the recovery of various injuries and releases tissue adhesions. By applying pressure to the muscles using the floss band in different ways, the entire process ideally takes place with the movement of the wrapped limb.
