It can be configured for either external air extraction or internal odour absorption, depending on your kitchen layout and ventilation options.Exhaust Air Extractor ModeIn exhaust air extractor mode, the metal grease filter purifies cooking vapours and smells by absorbing fatty substances and other small particles from kitchen fumes. The air exhaust pipe can then be connected to an exhaust air system or directed outside the property.Odour Absorber ModeWhere connection to an external ventilation system is not possible, the Kaiser A 9423 ElfBE Eco can operate as an internal filtering system. The metal grease filter first captures fatty substances and other small particles before odours and microparticles pass through the activated charcoal filter. The purified air is then returned to the kitchen.Simple Three-Speed OperationThe easy-to-use five-button control panel allows you to select one of three fan speeds: low, medium or high. Separate controls also operate the powerful LED lamps, helping to illuminate the cooking area below.Aluminium Corrugated Extraction PipeFor exhaust mode, the cooker hood includes a lightweight aluminium corrugated pipe with a diameter of 150mm. The pipe can be bent as required and extended to the necessary length without additional fixing. An adaptor is also included for connection to pipes with a 120mm conduit.Metal Grease FilterThe long-life metal grease filter is manufactured from stainless materials, including stainless steel and aluminium. During normal cooker hood operation, the grease filter should be cleaned every two months. It can be washed in a dishwasher or cleaned manually using mild detergent or liquid soap.Activated Charcoal FilterThe charcoal filter uses chemically treated activated carbon with a high absorption capacity. It can retain contaminating particles weighing more than five times the filter's own weight and helps remove cooking smells, smoke and steam impurities.
