As you cook, the fan speed is regulated according to the hob's heat settings, helping to manage cooking vapours and odours without constant manual adjustment.Electronic push-button controls are also provided, giving you direct access to 3 speeds plus an Intensive setting whenever you want to adjust extraction manually.Powerful ExtractionTech Pro PerformanceExtractionTech Pro provides strong extraction performance to help maintain fresher kitchen air. In ducted mode, the AEG DGE5861HM delivers an extraction rate of 300m³/h at minimum speed, 580m³/h at maximum speed and up to 700m³/h on the Intensive setting.For recirculating installation, airflow ranges from 295m³/h to 430m³/h, with an intensive recirculation rate of 435m³/h. In recirculation mode, air passes through the charcoal filter before being returned to the kitchen.A charcoal filter is included for recirculation use and requires periodic replacement. The specified charcoal filter type is ECFB01ST, with ECFBPL02 listed as the long-life filter type.
